Wedding Cakes in Marbella & the Costa del Sol

I create wedding cakes as complete desserts: flavour, texture, structure and design considered together. My work is rooted in modern French pastry and made locally through Art Bakery & Gourmet.

My approach

Flavour comes before decoration

A wedding cake should taste as carefully considered as it looks. I begin with the eating experience: fruit acidity, the character of chocolate, the softness of a mousse or cream, and the contrast between tender and crisp textures.

Only then do I resolve the visual composition. I prefer clean proportion, texture, fruit, chocolate work and restrained details. Fondant and copied Pinterest designs are not the centre of my work.

Cava & raspberry

A celebratory, fruit-led direction built around raspberry and Cava Rosé.

Mille-feuille

Crisp laminated pastry and cream for couples drawn to a classical French format.

Sizes & portions

Plan from the way the cake will be served

Guest count is the starting point, not the complete answer. The right size also depends on whether the cake is the principal dessert, how the venue will portion it and whether the design requires one tier, several tiers or a different serving format.

I recommend a minimum square portion of 5 × 5 cm for each guest. From this serving size, we can calculate the required cake surface and then confirm the suitable structure and format for the event.

Venue delivery & setup

The practical details are part of the cake

We deliver wedding cakes to any location in Marbella and to almost every location on the Costa del Sol. The venue must be safely accessible by a normal-quality road; remote or difficult-to-reach locations need individual confirmation.

Share the venue and event schedule when you enquire. Art Bakery will confirm access, delivery and any setup requirements for the specific celebration.

Consultation

Begin with a scheduled meeting

A few months in advance is best, but please contact us even when the wedding is closer. We prefer to arrange an in-person consultation by appointment: it gives your cake proper attention while allowing the pastry team to stay focused on production.

A little pastry interlude

What I make for the joy of it

Wedding cakes are only one part of my work. When I have room to experiment, I return to entremets, laminated pastry, chocolate and macarons. These are pieces I have created—and the flavour compositions I would imagine for them today.

Wedding cake FAQ

Questions couples ask before enquiring

Do you make wedding cakes in Marbella and the Costa del Sol?

Yes. We deliver to any location in Marbella and to almost every location on the Costa del Sol, provided the venue can be reached safely by a normal-quality road. Remote or difficult-access locations need to be confirmed individually.

How are wedding cake sizes and portions planned?

I recommend a minimum square portion of 5 × 5 cm per guest. This gives us a practical basis for calculating the required cake size, while the final format also considers the cake structure and how the venue will serve it.

Can the cake be delivered and set up at the wedding venue?

Yes. We deliver throughout Marbella and to almost every location on the Costa del Sol when the venue is accessible by a normal-quality road. Remote or difficult-access venues, setup requirements and timing are confirmed individually.

How far in advance should we order?

A few months in advance is best, especially for larger or more complex cakes. If your wedding is sooner, please still contact us: we are always willing to check what we can do.

Can we arrange a consultation?

Yes. We prefer a scheduled in-person meeting so we can give the cake proper attention while protecting focused production time in the pastry kitchen. Please message us first to arrange an appointment.

Can you copy a wedding cake from Pinterest or a photograph?

I do not copy another designer's cake. Reference images can help communicate mood, proportion and preferences, but I develop a design with its own flavour and visual identity.

Do you make fondant wedding cakes?

Fondant is not the basis of my style. I focus on modern French pastry, balanced flavour, clean proportions, texture, chocolate work, fruit and restrained decoration.

How much does a wedding cake cost?

Wedding cakes start from €600. The final price increases with the cake size and is confirmed after the guest count, format, design, venue, delivery and setup requirements are understood.
